The journal regularly publishes original articles, reviews and editorials from international imaging experts, with a particular focus on oncology. Readers can stay informed by signing up for alerts to receive the latest cutting-edge content, including studies encompassing CT, MRI, ultrasound, single photon positron emission tomography, and multimodality imaging in malignant tumours, as well as new developments, techniques and innovations.

All articles are indexed in major biomedical bibliographic databases such as PubMed, Embase, EmCare, Google Scholar, MEDLINE, Science Citation Index, and Scopus. Full texts are also available via PubMed Central, the U.S. National Library of Medicine’s repository for life sciences literature.

Editorial Board

The Cancer Imaging Editorial Board is led by Editor-in-Chief, Professor Khaled Elsayes, MD (MD Anderson Cancer Centre, USA), supported by Deputy Editors Dr Katherine Krajewski, MD (Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, USA), Dr Elaine Lee, MD (University of Hong Kong, China), Professor Olivier Lucidarme, MD, PhD (Pitié-Salpêtrière University Hospital, France) and Prof. Dr. med. Thorsten Persigehl (University Hospital Cologne, Germany).
An international collection of experts act as Section Editors covering all the sub-specialty areas of oncological imaging.

Reznek Prize

Named after Professor Rodney Reznek, the founding editor of the journal, the Reznek Prize is awarded every year to the authors of the article to receive the most citations.

The 2024 Reznek Prize was awarded to Dr. Dong He et al. for their article “MRI-based radiomics models to assess prostate cancer, extracapsular extension and positive surgical margins” Published in 2021, the paper has received 36 citations so far. Congratulations to Dr. He and all co-authors!
