Cancer Imaging, the official journal of ICIS, is a leading open-access, peer-reviewed journal published by BioMed Central. With a newly released Impact Factor of 4.8, Cancer Imaging ranks in the top quartile of all imaging journals, reflecting its commitment to high-quality scientific research.

The journal regularly publishes original articles, reviews and editorials from international imaging experts, with a particular focus on oncology. Readers can stay informed by signing up for alerts to receive the latest cutting-edge content, including studies encompassing CT, MRI, ultrasound, single photon positron emission tomography, and multimodality imaging in malignant tumours, as well as new developments, techniques and innovations.

Editorial Board

The Cancer Imaging Editorial Board is led by Editor-in-Chief, Professor Khaled Elsayes, MD (MD Anderson Cancer Centre, USA), supported by Deputy Editors Dr Katherine Krajewski, MD (Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, USA), Dr Elaine Lee, MD (University of Hong Kong, China), Professor Olivier Lucidarme, MD, PhD (Pitié-Salpêtrière University Hospital, France) and Prof. Dr. med. Thorsten Persigehl (University Hospital Cologne, Germany).

An international collection of experts act as Section Editors covering all the sub-specialty areas of oncological imaging.

Reznek Prize

Named after Professor Rodney Reznek, the founding editor of the journal, the Reznek Prize is awarded every year to the authors of the article to receive the most citations.
