The ICIS Interactive series is designed as an advanced cancer imaging course for Radiologists, who would like to gain deeper understanding into the imaging of specific cancer areas. The courses in this series have been rated excellent by many participants.
The course is limited to 24 participants per class.
Each session will commence with a lecture followed by a stimulating, interactive and often lively mentored case review of 8 to 10 cases on the workstation. By the end of the course, each participant will have reviewed 35 to 40 cases, each chosen with specific learning points. A comprehensive workbook is provided to guide participants through the cases.
This new Masterclass in Current Topics of Renal and Adrenal Imaging will be delivered online, over two half-days, as a workstation-based teaching course. We will provide an overview and diagnostic approach in evaluating cystic and solid renal masses as well as incidental and functional disorders of the adrenals.
The attendees will learn practical tips and work through cases evaluating renal masses and ways to avoid common pitfalls in assessment. The role of imaging with modality based diagnostic approach for dysfunction of the adrenal cortex and medulla will be demonstrated using clinical examples. The course will include evaluation of incidental adrenal lesions with emphasis on current guidelines and the limitations. We will review the key information referrers need from radiologists for appropriate patient management.
Our expert faculty have extensive clinical knowledge and experience, and delegates will benefit from mentored hands-on case-based learning with individual workstations. Between 35-40 cases will be reviewed, each chosen to illustrate specific learning points, all summarised in a comprehensive workbook which will be posted to your specified address before the course.
To achieve optimum experience from this interactive course, two screens, one with a camera are required. Please refer to the joining instructions for full details.
