Following our highly successful event in 2019 attended by over 400 delegates from over 30 countries, our 2021 meeting aims to promote better understanding and application of AI and machine learning in cancer imaging; and provide a multidisciplinary forum for radiologists, technicians/ radiographers, scientists and industrial partners to discuss and interact. The meeting is organised jointly by the Champalimaud Foundation and the International Cancer Imaging Society.
This meeting will highlight real-world translation in the development of infrastructure/ ecosystem/ data pipeline; as well as illustrative clinical use cases emerging from clinical needs. Controversies and advances in AI and machine learning approaches? will be presented and discussed. An industrial forum provides the opportunity to hear from scanner manufacturers, data science companies and health organisations to understand the development of tools for clinical benefit. The content will be delivered by a panel of invited international expert faculty.
The cost to attend this three day meeting is £65. 12 CPD credits will be awarded according to the CPD scheme of the Royal College of Radiologists. EACCME accreditation has been applied for. This is a commercial-free meeting, in line with the educational mission of the International Cancer Imaging Society and the Champalimaud Foundation.

Radiologists, technicians/ radiographers, scientists, industrial partners and all who are interest in the growth and development of AI and machine learning in cancer imaging.
What are the learning objectives?
1) To understand the real world translation of how imaging departments can prepare for AI
2) To review key AI and machine techniques for cancer imaging
3) To learn advances and controversies in AI and machine learning
4) To understand the perspectives from industry and health policy makers
5) To learn from exemplars of clinical use cases and lessons learnt in their development

On behalf of the Champalimaud Foundation and the International Cancer Imaging Society, we would like to invite you to attend this special focus multidisciplinary meeting on the development and application of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) in Cancer Imaging.
AI and ML are set to have a deep impact on how radiologists, as well as clinicians, may work in the future. However, there has been limited opportunities for imagers, scientists, clinicians and industrial partners to interact, so as to understand clinical needs, to identify common goals and to prioritise developments.
This meeting will bring together specialists in oncology, cancer imaging, AI and ML, as well as industry members to present and discuss these issues. We welcome your participation in our program and look forward to seeing you online!

Refunds (minus an administration charge of £70) will only be made if written notification is received by 20th June 2021. Thereafter no refunds will be made.

The meeting will be delivered by an invited faculty drawn from Fellows of the International Cancer Imaging Society, the Champalimaud Foundation and other internationally acknowledged experts.
UK Delegates
CPD points awarded by the Royal College of Radiologists – delegates will receive 12 credits in total for attendance on 22nd to 24th July.

The European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) have awarded this meeting 10 CME points.
US Delegates
