ICIS 2019 - Sponsored Delegate Opportunity

ICIS 2019 - Sponsored Delegate Opportunity

The International Cancer Imaging Society regularly attracts delegates from over 35 countries to it's annual teaching course. As a registered charity, we would like to ensure we have delegates in attendance from some of the world's least developed and developing countries, where funding travel to Italy and ICIS registration fees may not be possible.

Please help us spread the word by sharing this information with international radiologists who you think may be able to benefit from this opportunity.

The ICIS Secretariat invites any individual from any country categorised by the World Bank as 'low income' or 'lower middle income', to apply to be a sponsored delegate at ICIS 2019. The list can be found here

To apply please submit the following to [email protected]

- A written application
- Your CV
- A supporting letter from your Head of Department

Applications will be reviewed on a case by case basis. Level of funding to be determined by the ICIS Executive Board.

Sponsored delegates at ICIS 2018

At ICIS 2018 we sponsored three international delegates to travel to our meeting in Menton: Dr Doroudinia from Iran, Dr Eldeeb from Egypt and Dr Choudhury from India (who's abstract was highly commended).

Testimonial from ICIS 2018 sponsored delegate:

It was a great pleasure for me to get the opportunity to attend the 18th International Cancer Imaging Society (ICIS) meeting held in Menton, France in October 2018. I’m Nuclear Medicine Physician working as faculty member at university hospital and my practice is almost completely dedicated to cancer imaging and PET/CT scanning, more specifically lung cancer imaging. The topics in the ICIS meeting were very well selected and organized and I found them really practical and related to my daily practice. I was also fortunate to get reimbursed for the travel expenses by the ICIS board which I want to thank again for their support. Overall I found the 18th ICIS meeting very useful and practical.

Dr Doroudinia, Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, Tehran.
