In-person
Prof. Anwar Padhani
Overview
This one-day, workstation-based Masterclass in Oncological Whole-Body MRI provides radiologists with a comprehensive understanding of advanced WB-MRI techniques, including imaging optimization, disease detection, and management of incidental findings in cancer screening. A special focus on myeloma highlights characteristic disease patterns, while sessions on breast and prostate cancer underscore WB-MRI’s value for detection and response assessment. With 35–40 new cases for interactive review, participants will gain hands-on experience guided by expert faculty, supported by a detailed workbook for continued learning.
Learning Objectives
To learn how to perform and read WB-MRI scans for disease detection and response assessments. To understand how WB-MRI can help maintain health by early disease detection and disease characterisation using the ONCO-RADS standard. To discuss guidelines and benefits of WB-MRI in multiple myeloma using the MY-RADS standard. To learn about the detection and bone response benefits of WB-MRI in prostate and breast cancer using the MET-RADS standard.
