Giovanni Morana
Giovanni Morana is Director of the Neuroradiology Unit at ‘The City of Health and Science’ Hospital of Turin and Associate Professor of Neuroradiology at the University of Turin, Italy. He received his MD from the Catholic University of Rome, the specialization in Radiology from the University of Chieti and the PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Genoa, Italy. Since 2016 he is Fellow of the International Cancer Imaging Society (ICIS). From 2019 to 2023 he was Chair of the European Society for Paediatric Oncology (SIOPE), Imaging Brain Tumor Group.
Since 2017 he is the imaging group representative for Germ Cell Tumors of the European Society for Paediatric Oncology. Currently he is Chair of the Paediatric Neuroradiology Section of the Italian Association of Neuroradiology (AINR). He has published more than 140 peer-reviewed papers. His main research interest is paediatric neuro-oncologic diagnostic imaging and in particular the application of advanced multimodal multiparametric MR and PET imaging techniques in the field of brain tumors.
