Abstract Submission

Please make sure you have read all the information below about submitting your abstract and adhering to the rules. Once you are happy go ahead and fill in the form which can be found after the Abstract Guidelines.

 

Abstract Guidelines

Abstracts that do not adhere to the following important points will be rejected:

• The title should not exceed 15 words.  
• The abstract should not exceed 500 words for Scientific sessions and 600 words for incubator sessions.
• Please use authors’ initials and surnames only.
• Please provide the Institute and country for each co-author
• Qualifications should be omitted.  Do not include references, tables or figures.
• Please do not use block capitals.

You may choose from two different abstract categories:

1. Scientific session abstract
Scientific abstracts should present new research on any aspects of AI and machine learning related to cancer imaging. The abstract should be no longer than 500 words and should be organised into following sections: Aim, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusions. You can include up to two embedded images within your abstract.

2. Incubator session abstract
The incubator session aims to provide presenters with a forum to present new ideas to experts. The expert panel will provide constructive feedback to the presenters, and ideas on how to improve the project.

The abstract in this session should be no longer than 600 words and should be organised into the following sections: Background, Proposed use-case, Methodology, Expected outputs, Discussion. You can also include up to two embedded figures.

The best project presented in the incubator session will be invited to the Faculty Dinner, with the opportunity to network with the Faculty members, as well as mentoring for further development of the project if desired. 

Other things to note: 

Abstracts should not include promissory notes such as “We will provide additional data during our presentation.”
